Marketing and sales in the foundation of what makes our business's successful, they are both important and vital to the success of any business.

What is Marketing?

The total of activities involved in the transfer of goods from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including, advertising, shipping, storing, and selling -Dictionary.com

Marketing is the process in which we advertise our products and services to the public and potential customer via internet, email, radio, billboards, tv and ect.

What is Sales?

To offer for sale intransitive verb :  to dispose of something bysale :  make a sale -Dictionary.com

Sales is a process in which a person sells products and services to a potential customer or client.

Q: What is more important to your business and how do you decide where to spend your money?

A: They are both equally important. Marketing is effective but can cost more out of your pocket up front, but you can reach a larger group of people with out paying out aggressive commissions. 

    Sales can be done simply by posting in a local classified or internet site such as "Monster.com"  a sales person will go work either in house or out in the field prospecting new clients and hunting down leads, it's an opportunity to increase the quality of your clients and gain a solid foundation of customers that will support your monthly out going expense IMPORTANT:  It is never smart to pay a sales person a flat rate or base salary for selling for you, it is their job to sell and if they are good at what they do then they will prefer to be 50% commission then 25% with a $2000 salary, it can be much more lucrative for the sales person and for your business.
